EAST ANGLIAN WHIPPET  Championship Show held at Littleport on 17th August.

I would like to thank the committee of the EAWC for inviting me to judge BITCHES at their show, and for their wonderful hospitality on the day. In the catalogue I had an entry of 155 exhibits with 199 entries . I would also like to thank my two very helpful stewards Miranda Hall and Morris Bellamy. BIS in agreement with my co judge Sharon Saxon (USA) was the beautiful bitch Huntinghill Jazzalicious  & BPinS Starswift Sunset .

MPB . (13, 1ab) 1.Wignall’s Starswift Sunset a  peach fawn & white baby who has all the qualities you could hope for at 6 1/2 mths, lovely head  with very dark eyes, elegant neck into clean well laid shoulders, good front fill with super depth & rib, excellent top line & underline, good  rear angulation, she moved over the ground without any effort & her movement was so true . Should have a good future . B P I S. 2. Holland’s Elmanash Ambrosia pretty red fawn /wh trim another promising  baby with a sweet feminine head, pleasing outline, good front, enough depth & nicely angulated rear, preferred the topline & free easy movement of 1. 3.Ormand’s Denimonde Moonbeam .

PB.(15 . 3ab)   1. Foster’s Koppelwell Kurious Kactus attractive brindle of nice size & shape, pleasing head & expression, lovely balanced outline, good length of neck into correct shoulders, good depth  of chest & nice tuck up, excellent rear angulation . Best mover in the class. 2. Home & Fisher-Home   Jasarat Texas Rose lovely pale bri wh trim, beautiful head & expression with the darkest of eyes, perfect topline and underline, well shaped hindquarters, moved well in profile . 3. Davies Taraday Camberwell Beauty . JB.(26. 2ab) 1. Bridger’s Charm of Goldies at Hollygreens this lovely elegant fawn bri wh trim certainly charmed me, lovely head, neck & shoulders, good depth & spring of rib, perfect topline & well shaped  strong  quarters, in beautiful condition ,moved so well & covered the ground in a long easy stride, beautifully handled to the Res CC . 2. Faber’s Sufeina Hedge About  quality blue , feminine head, good length  of neck into well made shoulders & front , good bone & feet,  flowing topline, plenty depth & spring of rib, well made quarters, sound mover. 3. K K Kactus. 

YB. (16. 5ab) 1 Snelgrove’s  Huntinghill Jazzalicious super young fawn & wh girl who ouses quality, she is beautifully  put together, lovely head & expression, long clean neck into excellent front angulation, perfect topline & correct underline, depth down to her elbow, good spring of rib, excellent rear angulation, covers her ground standing & moving, true coming & going, a real daisy cutter, handled to perfection  .CC & BIS. 2 . Howgate & Hull’s Palmik Midnight Mischief JW quality pale fawn, lovely type,  sweet feminine head, long flowing neck into well laid shoulders, balanced under & topline, well angulated quarters with well let down hocks, covered the ground effortlessly with her long low, action  just tends to flatten her topline on the move.  3. Shepherd’s Buebezi Femme Fatale at Oxana .

Cox’s Rearsbylea Silver Sequin I loved everything about this  beautiful blue with wh trim, spoilt her chances by being a few pounds overweight . I look forward to seeing her with a trim figure. 3.Third’s Badgers Fable of Bruntsfield.

Bennet’s Stormburst Winter Berry JW. brindle  /wh  ideal size, lovely head & expression, clean neck fits into well laid shoulders, good depth & spring of rib, nice topline which she held on the move, sound free mover. 2. Wignall’s Starswift Sunrise lovely fawn .so well put together, of ideal size, femine head, good neck into well laid shoulders,super coat & skin, correct topline, sound mover. 3  Holland’s Elmanash Majorette.

LB. (23. 6ab) . 1. Mason’s Aphrael Damhan-Allaidh quality white with bri markings, lovely feminine head, good length of neck into correct shoulders, deep brisket & nice length of loin, well balanced outline, moved very soundly, in lovely condition. 2. Crosse’s Jayglo Just the One this quality fawn has the most beautiful coat & skin she just gleams, best of heads & arched neck leading to good shoulders, deep well sprung ribs, lovely topline standing & on the move . 3. Minns & Pascoe’s Juneric Midnight Magic.

OB. (19. 3ab) 1. Pascoe’s Juneric Little  Gemma at Sarakhan  elegant red fawn with a sweet feminine head, clean neck fitting into ideal shoulders, balanced under & topline, plenty depth, well angulated quarters with well let down hocks, moved well coming & going & in profile. 2.Ellis’s Rainy Day at Railfield another quality fawn, good head, neck & shoulders, good depth & length of loin, pleasing outline, good rear angulation, moved soundly . 3. Howgate & Hull’s Palmik Princess .

VB. (11. 3ab) 1. Minn’s Juneric Little Flower Girl a top quality fawn who is a favourite of mine having given her a RCC two years ago, she is hard to fault, built on lovely flowing lines & even at the age of 8 is still one of the best movers . 2. Price’s Silkstone Butterfly at Silkdance JW very similar in lots of way to 1,but preferred the front assembly of 1 .

(8. 0ab) 1Faber’s Elaphine Blueberry Downs of Sufeina   lovely blue girl nearly 8 years old in lovely condition, good head & neck leading into good shoulder placement, well constructed in all departments, the best mover in the class. 2. S B at Silkdance. 3. Robertson’s Copsebury Lightly Splashed by Moonlake.
